baby stepping

So here is my slew of bags,
do I keep them in the car?
What do you do?

No more brown paper bags, everyone has their own re-usable lunch bag.
I know, I am so far behind... but at least I've started the process.I would LOVE to hear from you-
what are some ways you've become a little greener in your home?

  1. Yes - keep them in your car! At least if I don't, I NEVER remember to grab them before I go to the store. So I keep them on the passenger seat in plain view. In my efforts to be greener, I have started a compost pile so I can grow more beautiful and organic vegetables in my garden next year. At least that's the hope . . . Other things, too, but I won't bore you with all of them. :-) Cute bags!

  3. I love this secret blog you have going Miss Scarlet! Why on earth did you keep it from me? :) I too have purchased a few (not nearly as cute) reusable bags from Trader Joe's and another grocery store by our house called Mollie Stone's. I bought them before everyone else started carrying cute ones. I always forget to use them though, I think I need to keep them in my car. I now use dish detergent that is eco-friendly and all-purpose cleaning spray that is too. I love that your into this too!

  5. I like the Ecos laundry detergent. They sell it at Costco now so it is cheap too! Cleans the clothes great, they smell fresh and clean, and it is good for the environment!

  7. Laura, this is such a great blog. I feel privileged to be a reader along with everyone else now (I was waiting for your email link after you mentioned it, but it never arrived...maybe you just forgot). Anyway, you are wonderful for attacking so many things and inspiring the rest of us while you do. Glad you are feeling better for it. You are wonderful.

  8. I keep them in the trunk of my car...always...and even then I forget to bring them in half of the time. Oh, and some checkers, especially at wal-mart, will be confused by your bags and not know what to do....so in that case, offer to bag your own groceries...I promise it will save your sanity and theirs!!!
